Can Web-e-Books be read on older design black & white Kindles or other single-purpose e-readers?

Yes, though with limitations.

We recommend multi-purpose computers, laptops, tablets, smartphones because older black & white Kindles and older single purpose e-readers typically have insufficient browsers. They were designed singularly for book buying on Amazon. The black & white Kindle browser interface is restrictive for today's standard web-surfing.

On the other hand, newer color Kindle Fire tablets are fully compatible with Web-e-Books.

With a Kindle Fire, you can access Web-e-Books optimally if your mobile device has Wi-Fi, 3G, or 4G services to the public Internet and a compatible browser like Fire Fox, Apple's Safari, Google's Chrome, Android Browsers, Kindle Silk, Windows IE/Edge or most other standard browsers.

We have designed our web-e-books.com website and all Web-e-Books to work smoothly with the latest touchscreen technologies for PCs, laptops, notebooks, tablets, and smart phones to offer truly elegant page-by-page reading and optimal touchscreen utility.

We provide free test books on our front page at web-e-books.com to test compatibility of your devices before you buy. We do not offer refunds.
